City proposes no tax increase

The new fiscal year will not mean new tax rates for citizens of Eagle Pass. 

At Tuesday evening’s meeting, city council proposed maintaining the same rate for the certified appraisal roles and certified roll back tax rates as 2015-2016: 0.546017. Public hearings on the issue will be held August 26 and September 6.
